Ficus Cutting - New Leaves Look Variegated
I have a ficus retusa of some sort. I planted a cutting from it and it seems to be taking off well, except some of the leaves are distorted and look variegated. This is not a variegated tree. I am thinking the leaves are deficient in something. Maybe not enough light, or its too cold, or not enough fertilizer, etc. All of these things are possibilities with my current arrangement indoors in the winter. Has anyone else seen new leaves like this?

Interesting. Do you know of any virus that effects ficus? I've heard of certain viruses that can cause variegated leaves and flowers in some plants.
Also are the variegated leaves more crumpled? It might just be the way the variegation makes it look in the photograph.
I also found this and a bunch more actually when I googled variegated ficus.
