Annual Bonsai Show

June 13-14 | Franklin County Fairgrounds Ganyard Building

53rd Annual Bonsai Show

Free Admission and Parking!

Columbus Bonsai Society along with three Central Ohio Ikebana Schools are proud to collaborate at this year’s 2026 Annual Bonsai Show.

Bonsai is the art of shaping and cultivating trees to express the beauty of nature over time, while Ikebana is the Japanese art of floral arrangement; emphasizing form, space, and seasonal awareness. Rooted in Japanese tradition, both art forms value balance, harmony, and mindful observation.

Join us for this weekend long event!

When:  June 13th and 14th
Hours: Saturday, 10am – 5pm; Sunday, 9am – 5pm
Location: Franklin County Fairgrounds, Ganyard Building

Enjoy and be inspired by the Bonsai and Ikebana viewing galleries with 50 trees ranging from mountain pines to tropical varieties, along with Ikebana displays representing 3 unique Schools of visual artistry.

Guest demonstrations and hands-on workshops will be offered throughout the weekend, including special guest Bonsai artist Mark Arpag from Rochester NY and special guests from Columbus's Ikebana organizations. Hands-On Workshops require pre-registration and fees are based upon materials and subject matter. Both workshops and live demonstrations are available to the public for observation free of charge.

This year’s show will include 10 confirmed vendors including Bonsai, Ceramic and Ikebana related businesses.  After being inspired, please support these wonderful practitioners of the Bonsai and Ikebana Art forms.

For those who need an early jolt of caffeine to get the day started, or a cool drink to refresh yourself, a local favorite, Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee Truck | Mobile Coffee & Drink Cart will be on hand Sunday from 11am to 5pm to help you get your day started and to keep you cool throughout the day.
